School of Nursing at FS University has organised Lamp Lighting and Oath Taking Ceremony on 1st March 2023. The Lamp Lighting ceremony is an auspicious occasion in every nurse’s life which is held in reverence to the first nurse of the world Florence Nightingale who is also known as. the lady with the lamp.
The Lamp Lighting ceremony formally recognizes the student’s entry in to the nursing profession as the lamp symbolizes the light that a nurse becomes to her patients as a symbol of hope and comfort.
