The Master of Arts is an innovative programme, through which the learners will have comprehensive knowledge of education as a field of study Keeping in mind the current needs and developments in the field of teacher education, this programme caters to the need of learners arising out of changing trends and evolving pedagogy. Programme Learning Outcomes

On completion of the programme, a learner would be expected to:

  • Explain the philosophical origins of educational theories and practices.
  • Analyse the learning process based on theoretical approaches of learning.
  • Administering different tools and their purpose of collecting data.
  • Explaining in clarity the construction of curriculum and its assessment criteria’
  • Designing task based assignments along with question paper and marking schemes.
  • Generating the research methodology within for pursuing higher degrees for enriching professional competencies
  • To be able to discuss the need for environmental conservation and other global issues.
  • To promote multidisciplinary approach in their teaching pedagogy.

Bachelor degree in any discipline with atleast 50% marks (45% Mark (sc/st)

 from recognized University/ Institution. Graduates of recognized professional programs. are also eligible to apply.
