After completing this programme, graduates of the program are able to

  • Provide competent, safe, high-quality, and culturally sensitive nurse-midwifery care to address the health needs of people from a diversity of backgrounds, experiences, family structures, and communities.*
  • Critically evaluate theories, concepts, and research findings from nursing, midwifery, and related sciences for translation into clinical practice.*
  • Use effective communication and leadership skills in interprofessional teams to promote positive change in the health care of people, newborns, and families.*
  • Use information systems and other technologies to improve the quality and safety of health care for people and newborns.
  • Apply principles of transformative justice and the social determinants of health in the evaluation of health policies and advocacy for the health of people and families in local, national, and international contexts.

Scope:- Nursing is a respectable and decent profession that not only pays handsomely but also provides the satisfaction of aiding the sick. B. Sc Nursing has a diverse range of job opportunities in India, especially in the healthcare and teaching fields. INC (Indian Nursing Council) has also validated a number of top-level government and private-sector job positions for the nursing graduates. Due to rapid growth of health care industry in India, job prospects for nurses are higher than ever before. An expanding number of hospitals, nursing homes, and medical facilities are emerging in vast speed and, the government, for its part, is working hard to boost the country’s nursing industry.
